Cherrypopping
Dear people from all over the world,
UBN has asked Karlsbergh to organise an event for UBN's Day. Of course, we took this task very seriously and organised a very big event for everyone across UBN.
The name of the event is Cherrypopping and it will take place on 12 December 2021 in the Cherry meadow of Krieque, the Liefmans town of Karlsbergh. Krieque is known for its Belle Vue over the most beautiful Cherry Meadow.
Cherrypopping is an event where everybody is welcome to taste the different countries while participating in fun activities.
It is a real challenge because you get to know each country in a fun and competitive way.
What is there to experience at Cherrypopping?
The programme is as follows:
At 12 pm sharp the doors open and you can put on your 'festival band' and settle in with a drink and some nice music to get you in the mood.
At 1 pm we start the first activity.
We will then play a real life "Stratego" game, in which you have to take the flags of different countries. The country that has captured the most flags wins the first activity and gets a point for their country.
At 3 pm the big "Guess Who?" game starts, in which all citizens of the world play with each other. You ask questions to anyone you like until you guess who they are.
The first 10 candidates to finish the game get a point for their country.
At 5 pm we start with the tasting of each country. This means that each country brings its specialty of food and/or drink to the event. So we can all enjoy an extensive buffet.
At 7 pm the big drinking game of Karlsbergh, "The Circle of Death", starts. This game will continue until the big winner of the Cherrypopping event is announced. Afterwards, there will be a great afterparty with well-known artists Jay-J and UBNcé and Harry Stalin. Afterwards, Karlsbergh's most famous DJ will close the party. And that, of course, is DJ ELMO.
Are you tired and/or can't get home?
That is no problem. Karlsbergh has a place for everyone in a large accommodation. So you can stay one night at the Belle Vue Hotel in Krieque, close to the Cherry Meadow.
